Tests and Assessments

Throughout the selection process you will be required to complete a number of test, exercises and assessments that will evaluate your Officer potential and suitability for training at Sandhurst.

The following sections describe the tests and assessments that you will be required to complete during the AOSB Briefing and Main Board. You will find detailed explanations of purpose of the exercise and the qualities you need to demonstrate to do well.

I will explain the techniques and methods that I work well to enable you to demonstrate your abilities. Each of the assessments that you will undergo during AOSB Briefing and Main board are not equally weighted meaning that your performance in certain tests will have a greater influence on your overall success than another.
